BreakThrough Physical Therapy to Host Rock Climbing Injury Prevention Clinic
BreakThrough Physical Therapy (BTPT) is pleased to announce that Dr. Eva Witham, PT, DPT, will host a presentation in injury prevention and treatment techniques for rock climbers at REI in The Shops at Friendly Center in Greensboro, North Carolina on February 23, 2016.
The presentation, which will be held from 7 PM – 8 PM, will feature injury prevention techniques like core strengthening exercises, shoulder stabilization exercises, and stretching, as well as treatment options for common rock climbing injuries. Dr. Witham will also host a demonstration and be available for a Q&A session.
“As an active person and an avid rock climber, I know there’s nothing worse than being sidelined from doing something you love because of an injury. I look forward to the opportunity to share tips and techniques to help other climbers avoid potential injuries,” said Dr. Witham.
