Texas Roadhouse Cycling Team Presented by ProRehab Physical Therapy Wins National Team Pursuit Championship
Curtis Tolson Cycling’s Elite Team, Texas Roadhouse Cycling Team Presented by ProRehab Physical Therapy, won the National Team Pursuit Championship on Thursday, July 27, 2016.
The Olympic event is a track race that begins with 4 riders who cover 4 kilometers as fast as possible. Three riders must finish, with time taken from the third rider to cross the finish line. Average speeds for the race are about 34 miles per hour. The team won the championship with a clocked time of 4:25.927, making them a possible discretionary selection for the upcoming World Cup & Pan Am Championships, both stepping-stones to the Olympic games.
In addition to providing financial support in sponsorship of the team, locally owned ProRehab Physical Therapy’s allPRO Sports Performance team provides both injury prevention and rehabilitation services to members of the elite team.
