Kristina Arnette Named a Best in Finance Honoree by Louisville Business First
ANNOUNCING: Meet our 2021 Best in Finance honorees
A strong balance sheet is the lifeblood of any successful business. And with every successful business, there’s usually a strong chief financial officer or finance team behind the scenes working diligently to crunch numbers, trim budgets and forecast company results.
And in 2020, managing those numbers and expenses became extremely important during the Covid-19 pandemic.
It can be a thankless job, but financial executives play a crucial role in the success of any organization. That’s because when it comes down to it, a company’s worth is measured in dollars and cents. And in this competitive business environment, having a solid grasp on the financials is a must.
Back for its fifth year, Louisville Business First is announcing its Best in Finance awards, presented by Truist, to recognize outstanding professionals working in a finance position at a Louisville-area company or nonprofit organization.
We turned to three local financial experts to judge this year’s awards. Big thanks to Pam Freeman, CFO at Office Resources Inc. (ORI); Mark Hohmann, CFO at Goodwill Industries of Kentucky; and Lynette Kokomoor, CFO/Human Resources at Bandy Carrol Hellige for lending their time and expertise to help us pick our honorees.
And thanks to presenter Truist, key supporter sponsor Kentucky Society of CPAs and video partner Hatfield Media.
Full profiles for our honorees will publish in the June 25 print edition of LBF and online that week. A virtual Best in Finance event will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursday, June 24, with more details soon to come.
