ProActive Physical Therapy Now Open in Camas!
ProActive Physical Therapy, Southwest Washington and Northwest Oregon’s preeminent physical therapy provider, is pleased to announce the opening of its newest clinic in Camas, Washington. Located at 3400 SE 196th Avenue in Suite 101, the clinic is the group’s 10th and first in Camas.
Conveniently located behind QFC off of SE 192nd Ave, the Camas clinic will offer orthopaedic, manual, and sports physical therapy to reduce and prevent aches and pains in the musculoskeletal system, workplace injury prevention services, and more.
Orthopaedic, manual and sports injuries, vestibular issues, and post-concussion recovery, and TMJ/TMD dysfunction are special areas of interest for Clinic Director Timothy Domres, PT, OCS, who frequently attends continuing education courses designed to expand his current knowledge. He enjoys challenging himself with his work and strives to get his patients back to their desired level of function quickly and effectively. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, kayaking, and spending time with friends and family.
As an APTA Board Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist, Timothy is able to better treat orthopaedic patients and is up-to-date with cutting edge research and technology. The OCS certification focuses on evidence-based practice, orthopedic injury examination, treatment, and medical interventions. Roughly 6.5% of the physical therapists in the United States are Board Certified in a specialty, and only 3.9% of therapists in the United States are Orthopaedic Clinical Specialists.
“I am honored to be bringing ProActive Physical Therapy’s exceptional standard of care to patients in Camas,” said Domres. “For years, loyal patients from Camas have been traveling to Battle Ground or Gresham to see us, so we are thrilled to officially open our doors in their hometown. I look forward to welcoming existing patients into our new clinic, as well as meeting our new neighbors and showing them all that ProActive has to offer.”
