Physical Therapy Central Named 2016 Recipient of University of Oklahoma Health Science Center Citation for Special Contribution Award
Physical Therapy Central (PT Central) is proud to announce they were awarded the Citation for Special Contribution by the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center (OUHSC)’s College of Allied Health on April 7, 2016.
The Special Citation was awarded in recognition of outstanding contributions in leadership in the physical therapy community and in support of the didactic and clinical education of physical therapy students at the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center. PT Central received the award for providing clinical education sites and adjunct facility to the OUHSC, having an active role in the Oklahoma Physical Therapy Association (OPTA) and state legislature, volunteering to meet with OUHSC faculty on re-accreditation and curriculum updates, volunteering for the free Good Shepard Clinic, and having more board certified clinicians than any other practice in the state.
“We are honored to have been recognized by the Dean Rudeen and the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center,” said PT Central CEO Bridget Finley, PT, DPT, OCS, FAAOMPT. “Part of PT Central’s mission is to leave the physical therapy profession in better shape than we found it, and we are grateful for the opportunity to work so closely with the OUHSC to ensure that goal becomes a reality.”
