Bill Pfister Jr. received his B.S. in kinesiology with an emphasis in Pre-Physical Therapy from California State University Hayward. There he played collegiate basketball, was the team captain, and earned an Academic All-American award. He then went on to receive his master’s degree in Physical Therapy from Rutgers University and the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 2003. His training includes neurological rehabilitation, sports, and orthopedics with a specialization in lymphedema and brachioplexopathy rehabilitation. As the Managing Director of Meridian Physical Therapy and Athletic Rehabilitation since 2005, his innovation and passion for helping people achieve their rehabilitative goals. Bill is considered to be an expert in post-operative spine rehabilitation and as such has spoken at neurosurgical conferences amongst some of the world’s most esteemed neurosurgeons. He also teaches continuing education courses regarding neurodynamic mobilization of the upper/lower extremities. His forward-thinking and entrepreneurial mindset helped him create a rehabilitation center approach to care to incorporate massage therapy, chiropractic, physical therapy, and lifestyle medicine in an effort to accelerate rehabilitation outcomes.
Bill is also a dedicated expert in pre and post-surgical breast cancer care and works closely with some of the top oncologists and cancer teams in Western WA.
