Dan received his Doctor of Science in Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy from Andrews University in 2009 and his Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from St. Louis University in 2004. He also earned a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy in 2002 and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Science in 2000 and from St. Louis University.
Dan completed his fellowship with North American Institute of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT) and American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists (AAOMPT) in 2009. Dan earned his Certified Orthopaedic Manipulative Therapist (COMT) and Certified Manual Physical Therapist (CMPT) certifications in 2009 from NAIOMT. His Athletic Training Certification from the NATABOC was obtained in 2001 and His Certified Strength and Conditioning specialty in 2000.
Dan’s specialties include outpatient orthopaedics, sports and spine rehabilitation. He has worked with athletes at every level—from elementary and high school, college, to professional. He has treated athletes at Saint Louis University and Nebraska University, interned with the St. Louis Rams and was head athletic trainer at Evansville Mater Dei High School.
Dan is married with five children and enjoys watching and coaching the vast number of athletic activities they participate in—wrestling, baseball/softball, football, soccer, volleyball, basketball—as well as their numerous school activities.
