Executive Team | Janie Taylor

Janie Taylor, PT, DPT, OCS serves as VP of Clinical Operations on the Thrive team for Confluent Health, overseeing the MidSouth Region of clinics. In addition to her VP role with Confluent Health, Janie is also the current Chief Executive Officer for Physical Therapy Central and Redbud Physical Therapy, with 50 outpatient clinics across Oklahoma. Janie first joined the PTC family in 2006 as a staff physical therapist, and transitioned to a partner and clinic director role in 2010. Prior to assuming the CEO role in 2020, Janie served as a Regional Director for PTC from 2017 – 2020.  

Janie graduated from Oklahoma State University with an BS in Human Sciences in 2003, followed by a master’s degree in Physical Therapy from University of Oklahoma in 2006 and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from A.T. Still University in Arizona in 2009. Janie continued to develop her practice by earning her board certification in orthopedics from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties in 2010, recertifying in 2022.  In addition to specialization in orthopedics, Janie has spent much of her leadership career with emphasis on compliance, revenue cycle management, front office operations, as well as talent development for both PTC and Confluent Health.

Janie is passionate about professional advocacy, serving in multiple roles in both the American Physical Therapy Association and the Oklahoma Physical Therapy Association. Janie received the Emerging Leader Award from the American Physical Therapy Association in 2008.  In 2011, Janie was awarded the OPTA Kenneth Ball Award for Significant Service to the association.  She is currently serving as President of the APTA Oklahoma chapter through 2026.

Janie enjoys spending time with her husband, Tommy, and 3 children – Kate, Harrison, and Anna.  She loves attending her children’s sporting events and rooting for the best university in Oklahoma, Oklahoma State!
