With 30 years healthcare experience, Kimberly Mascaro provides leadership to growth initiatives, including population health, community engagement, and clinical integration strategies. Her experience in managed care network development and health services business development includes health plans, hospital systems, utilization management companies, independent practice associations, and large multi-specialty practices. Kim’s strengths include strong team-building skills, customer relationships, fresh thinking, and a keen sense of responsibility for community-driven health.
She currently serves as Executive Vice President for Confluent Health, a multi-faceted company with 200 physical therapy clinics and workplace injury prevention services in 750 locations throughout the US, and a university partnership collaborative serving thousands of physical therapists in training or post-professionally. Providing care that is evidence-based, convenient, and compassionate, Confluent Health’s physical therapy groups are the first-line healthcare professionals for most musculoskeletal conditions and injuries. Confluent Health serves local communities with hands-on therapy to prevent or delay surgery, reduce the need for medication, and minimize utilization of radiology while patients experience long-lasting benefits after treatment.
Kim is also a co-founder of ChooseWell Communities, Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization focused on anchoring families in early addiction recovery with safe, affordable housing and community supports, honoring a vision in which every child under the age of three lives in a home free from substance misuse.
Kim received her Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mathematics and Economics from Centre College and her Master of Public Health (MPH) from the University of Louisville.
