Texas Physical Therapy Specialists Announces $5 Community Clinic at Northwest San Antonio Location
Texas Physical Therapy Specialists (TexPTS) is proud to announce the opening of a community clinic in their San Antonio – Northwest location in the University of the Incarnate Word (UIW) School of Physical Therapy building at 9160 Guilbeau Road on January 26, 2016.
The UIW School of Physical Therapy Community Clinic is open Tuesday and Thursdays from 4 PM to 6:30 PM, serving patients with a medical diagnosis and a valid referral from a healthcare provider for physical therapy, age 13 and older, who are not eligible for Medicare benefits, are uninsured, are not covered for physical therapy, have exhausted their yearly benefit, or are underinsured. Services will be provided by current UIW School of Physical Therapy students, who are supervised by UIW faculty and licensed community Physical Therapists. The cost of care is $5.00 per session.
Services provided by the TexPTS San Antonio – Northwest clinic will include orthopaedic and spine care, free injury screenings, sports physical therapy and sports injury screenings, manual therapy, dry needling, vestibular rehab, weight loss and metabolic conditioning, and chronic pain treatment.
