Nationally, less than nine percent of physical therapists are clinically board-certified. At Confluent Health, over 33 percent of our clinicians are board-certified and that number is growing! EIM’s Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Residency Program provides post-professional clinical and didactic education in two unique settings to match your residency training needs. Through ongoing clinical supervision and mentoring with a theoretical basis for advanced practice and scientific inquiry, you will improve your clinical practice and decision-making. EIM is home to the nation’s largest orthopaedic physical therapy residency program.
The EIM Sports Physical Therapy Residency provides 18 months of clinical and didactic education for physical therapists designed to advance the resident’s preparation as a highly-skilled provider of patient care services in sports physical therapy. Graduates exemplify clinical excellence in sports physical therapy and are well-versed in the prevention, evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, and performance enhancement for today’s athletes.
