Evidence In Motion Partners with KinetaCore
Evidence In Motion (EIM) a company that provides certificate, residency and fellowship programs for physical and occupational therapists, is pleased to announce a definitive agreement with KinetaCore® to become part of the EIM family with their shared passion to elevate the rehabilitation professions via top-notch educational offerings. KinetaCore founder and owner, Edo Zylstra, PT, DPT, MS, OCS will remain integrally involved and continue to operate under the KinetaCore brand.
Using the most up-to-date research and cutting edge technology, EIM is transforming the way physical and occupational therapists are trained and educated. EIM’s Orthopaedic, Sports, and Neurologic* Physical Therapy Residency, Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy Fellowship, Postprofessional Doctorate of Physical Therapy, Executive Program in Private Practice Management, and various Certification programs are delivered to physical and occupational therapists where they live and work. EIM features the perfect blend of online and hands-on training from world renowned educators with extensive experience in teaching, research, and business.
EIM, which began in 2004, has admired and respected the impact KinetaCore has made on advocating for and expanding the practice of dry needling. The objective of this partnership is to integrate KinetaCore’s functional approach into EIM’s blended educational delivery model. Students will be able to complete much of the coursework online so that the weekend courses can focus exclusively on hands-on training. This partnership will expand the number of students who can become proficient in Functional Dry Needling® and therefore expand the utilization of dry needling for patients who will benefit from comprehensive, evidence-informed physical therapy. “We are so excited to join forces with one of the most respected and quickly growing educational institutions in the United States, Evidence In Motion,” says KinetaCore founder Edo Zylstra. “Both my wife Christi and I believe that this is the next step to growing professionally as a company and serving to advance physical therapy by integrating Functional Dry Needling into physical therapy programs, continuing education, and rehabilitative medicine in the US and beyond.”
KinetaCore staff and faculty will continue to provide the high-level teaching experiences under the KinetaCore brand, but with the collaboration and support of EIM, continue to train therapists in Functional Dry Needling techniques and advocate for the addition of dry needling into the scope of practice for physical therapists across the country.
